YATI will commission established playwrights to write plays specifically intended for Young Adult audiences, including adaptations of popular Young Adult literature. YATI will provide workshops and other development opportunities for the playwright. Eventually, YATI will provide coproduction funds to theaters that produce the commissioned plays.
