UPDATE #1: IDEATION has won the Glickman Award for best new play in the Bay Area in 2013!
UPDATE #2: IDEATION is transferring to the SF Playhouse mainstage to open the 2014/15 season!
I directed the world premiere of IDEATION by Aaron Loeb for the San Francisco Playhouse. This was part of their Sandbox series, performing in their old mainstage space on Sutter (now called Tides Theater). We had a tremendous cast for this one: Ben Euphrat, Jason Kapoor, Carrie Paff, Mark Anderson Phillips, and Michael Ray Wisely. And it couldn’t have been more successful. More info here.
My adaptation of Little Brother by Cory Doctorow was published in the January 2013 issue of Theatre Bay Area Magazine.
Little Brother was also on the 2012 best-of lists from the SF Bay Guardian and from Sam Hurwitt, was the runner-up for the Glickman Award, and was nominated for the Steinberg Award and six Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards.
